MAJORDESIGN Creative Agency is constantly seeking for unique solutions such as online as well as offline. We are very proud, that we have renowned artists on board, who follow you on your creative path. Take part in that journey and create your own high end design leather notebook.
Short description: During the workshop you will be creating a handmade leather notebook with traditional bookbinding technique with a little twist. The attendees will execute the concept notebook by Marianna Balazs under her supervision and assistance. For some of the inner pages there are artistic print available by Johanna Finckh, which are exclusively made for the MAJORDESIGN Workshop. The notebooks can be completed with stickers of the months, which are included. Motives to burn into the cover stay at your disposal.
During the evening there are snacks and beverages.
Marianna Balazs
Marianna Balazs was born in Hungary. She lives and works in Pápa and in Budapest. She studied in Krakkow and received her diploma cum laude in 2012 as a product designer at the Moholy-Nagy university in Budapest. Besides bookbinding projects she is a devoted and high ranked jewellry artist.

Johanna Finckh
Johanna Finckh was born in 1981 in Göttingen, Germany. She grew up in Murci, Italy and studied graphics and printmaking at the University of Applied Arts Vienna. Her works are shown mainly in Vienna, such as the Dorotheum, or the Musuemsquartier. But also in the Jewish Museum in Shanghai, where her contribution to the Exile Shanghai Exhibition was awarded the first prize. In 2008 she was the winner of the Vivatis Award. Johanna Finckh is represented in Vienna by the Kro Art Contemporary and the Wolfrum Gallery; in Berlin by the MagicBeans Gallery.
